Pursuit Pro Wrestling is a pro-wrestling training facility based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and was founded by Nathan Black and Liam Slater in 2021. PPW is primarily a training facility catering to a wide number of different people, but also runs Friday Night Pursuit shows. The facility we’re currently located in is our 2nd home after moving here in 2023.
Our full code of conduct can be found via the link below. But a rough overview is that we are respectful and kind to all who come to PPW. We have a zero tolerance rule on harassment and bullying.As Pro-wrestling is full contact, hygiene is incredibly important and must be maintained. Smelling fresh and wearing clean clothes are essential for training. We are a “pay before you train” establishment, and payment for sessions, both membership or pay as you go, must be made before your training commences. Without this, you may be asked to leave. Your account won’t be broken, you have just not been granted access yet. Access is granted through head coach Liam Slater verifying who you are and what level you are at. Please see our section on experience for more information on this. This is in place to ensure both yourself and our trainees are as safe as possible. But you will be unable to access certain pages until access has been granted.
We run a 6 week beginners course. It’s weekly hour long sessions and runs throughout the year. Our course training days are Wednesdays at 5pm and Fridays 11am and 6:30pm. The course in total is £199 and will be booked through the website. We welcome anyone with pro-wrestling experience to come and train with us. Pro-wrestling experience is anywhere beyond a beginner stage. This experience must have happened at a training school/facility. We welcome people from all over the world, but we cannot help with finding accommodation or visa issues. We run two Juniors classes, a 10 to 13 year old class and a 13 to 16 year old class. Both classes are £15 per session and we also have a membership which is £50 for the month of training. We ask parents/guardians to stay on site through the training session, and a waiver form must be completed by the parent to sign off for the child’s participation. These classes are mixed gender and ability and our primary focus is safety for the trainees.We unfortunately cannot accept anyone under the age of 10 years old.
We have free parking and street parking outside the facility. You won’t have an issue getting parked.Our post code is S2 2SP and you should end up on Fitzwalter Road. If you are going to Effingham Street, you are going to our old facility. Keep your eyes out for a post office on the corner of a cross roads, and we're up the incline.
We are a 10/15 minute walk from the train station in Sheffield and many people commute into the city and head up towards PPW. Be warned, it is a big hill on your way up.Our post code is S2 2SP and you should end up on Fitzwalter Road. We are a single story building with full accessibility in and out. We have two toilets, one of which has a lot of room, but they are regular dimensioned doors, which may be too small for certain wheel chairs. On our show days, we have a fully functional lighting and sound system, which include loud amps and strobe effects.
Once you’ve been granted access onto the website, you’ll be able to book classes as one offs. Payment can be made through card, apple pay or google pay. We do not accept cash payment for training. Training must be booked before arriving at the facility.Our 2 hour sessions are £19.50, our 3 hour sessions are £22 and private 1 to 1 sessions are £40. You will have the ability to reschedule your session via the website. Cancellations with a 48 hour time period will mean you are not eligible for a refund.
If you’re coming on a regular basis, a membership plan may be a good option for you. This will save you some money in the long run and means that your sessions are paid for in one lump sum. Bronze; 4 Sessions a month. £75Silver; 8 sessions a month. £100Gold; Unlimited session a month. £110. Platinum; 4 one to ones a month. £150. There is a re-joining fee, but for first time buyers, a discount code can be applied to remove the fee. Please send an email to receive the code. Membership works on a rolling monthly basis, starting from your date of purchase.

We operate a "Pay what you feel" system for our tickets. There is a £1 booking fee, and from there you can donate what ever you could like. You could also do that at the facilty on the day. All the money goes into a pot and is divided between our crew and the wrestlers. This way, we can provide a show for everyone, and provide a platform for our wrestlers to work on as well.
We hold Stag Do sessions which are subject to availability. We can cater up to 30 people and the session run time is usually around 2 hours. Our sessions are a great afternoon activity before heading into Sheffield. Please be aware, we do not have showers on site.
